I wish I could create sets in my group!
One workaround though, is to put a unique tag on the photos for each “set” that you want. You can then look at the pool by that tag, thereby creating a “set” of those photos. You still can’t order them like a set, but you can group them that way.
For example, the New Zealand group pool can be displayed this way:
Sheep in NZ
Birds in NZ
etc.
You can also run slideshows for each of those tags.
By putting these links into your group description (using the Administration tools), you can point people to particular “sets” of photos in your group pool. You might also consider starting a group thread for each of your main tags, perhaps even listing sub-sets (tags) that go with each set (tag).
Trying Flock again
I first tried Flock a few months ago when it first started in public Beta. I could see the potential, but it had enough bugs/quirks that I stopped using it. Now I’ve decided to give it another try. It seems much more stable now, so I might run it for a few days and see what I think.
