I set up this blog back in September 2004 just as a place for random thoughts and observations; mainly for my friends back in the US who only see me about every 3 years. That will explain the randomness of the posts here.
My daughter asked me the other day, “What is deliberate serendipity?” Just a phrase I came up with out of the blue one day. I told her that Serendipity is finding something unexpected when you are searching for something else. “I know that deliberate means on purpose, so how can you find something unexpected on purpose?” Ah, that’s the crux. Can you? I’ll let you decide that.
